Pitt Women's Soccer had a very successful year going 8-5-5 overall and 3-3-5 in the Big East Conference.
A record four players earned All-Big East honors this year. Liz Carroll, Katie Ruhe and Kat Weiler earned All-Big East Third Team and Ashley Cuba earned All-Big East Rookie Team.
More hardware was collected after the season as Liz Carroll was named a All-Region Third team member and Morie Kephart was named the NCAA Statistical Champion (best in the country) for Save percentage with .926
Season Recap
As a team we broke the season shutout record with 10 this year, which ranks 4th in the BE. We rank 13th nationally in Team GAA 0.568 and #2 nationally in Save Percentage .910. We also gave up a season record low 11 goals against.
Our RPI ranking is currently #67.

We received our First ever National Ranking on Sept 7th by Soccer America (Ranked #25)

· 2-1 Win over Ohio State (currently nationally ranked #11)
· 0-0 Tie vs. Notre Dame (0-0 tie…the first time since Oct 2006 they’ve been shut out by a conference opponent and only blemish on their conference season this year)
· 0-0 Tie vs. Marquette University
· 1-1 Tie vs. West Virginia
